Lunch With God

LUNCH WITH GOD:

GOD the concept in itself is so Vast and Small, Complex and Simple its a YES and a NO at the same time.

Everyone has a different concept about GOD. The best part on this is that everyone is absolutely 100% right.

Now I am not here to discuss religion or faith, I am just here to tell you a story of Innocence and truth.

The story is not my own but I am trying to put it in my own words.

There was once a boy, not in the distant land, but in a small town, where trust still exists on a plane where you can trust, he was about 6 years old.

He had heard a lot about GOD and wanted to meet him.

Whenever he asked his parents and elders where he could meet GOD? He got the same answer.

God lives far far away. so he knew that it as a long trip to meet GOD.

So one day the boy decides that he would go the long trip and meet god.

Therefore he packs a bag pack with a bottle of water and some cup cakes and then he begins his journey

So the adventure starts

The boy is determined and has a rock solid resolve to meet God.

So after walking for about 30 minutes the boy reaches a small part, and decides that it’s time to have a break. Let’s have a cup cake and some water. He finds a bench and decides to rest there a while. As he is talking out the cupcakes and water, the boy observes that an old lady is sitting beside him and looked hungry. So the boy gives her the cup cake. The old lady gladly accepts the cup cake and starts to unwrap it so that she may eat it.

And then the MAGIC happened. While she is eating the cup cake the old lady gave the boy a smile. The smile was so beautiful; heart piercing and peaceful to the boy that he wanted to see it again. So he offered her the bottle of water, and again he saw the smile. Then again he offered her another cake and once again the lady gave the boy that blissful smile.

The little boy was so happy and mesmerized by this that they spend a lot of time on the bench, without uttering a single word to each other.

It was getting late and the boy realized that he must head home, so he packed his bag and startted to walk back. However, just after a few steps he turned and runs to the old women and gives her a grand hug. And the old women gives him the biggest smiles ever.

As the boy reaches home his mother is surprised to see the feeling of content on his face. She asks him, “what did you do today that made you so happy?” the boy replies,” you know mother; I had lunch with god today.” Before the mother could respond to this the boy said again,” but you know what, GOD is really old, but she’s got the most beautiful smile ever.”

Meanwhile, the old women glowing with joy and happiness reaches her home. Looking at the big smile she had her son asks her,” Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?.” The mother replied, I had lunch with GOD today, but before her son could reply or nod the old women said again,” you know what, God is much younger than I expected.”

In this whole story the boy and the old women never spoke a word to each other, but who is to say that each one of them did not have LUNCH with GOD.
